What consumes one API credit?
Under the published Trade Data API rule, one shipment record returned consumes one API credit.
Do contact, company and KYB APIs use the same rule?
No. Importer, exporter and competitor records use 15 credits, global company details use 20 credits, and the official documentation publishes separate contact and KYB rules.
Do API credits expire?
Credits are valid for 12 months. A new credit purchase extends the validity of the full remaining balance for another 12 months from that purchase date.
Are rate limits applied?
Yes. Published packs range from 50 to 150 calls per minute and 50 to 200 records per call. Custom enterprise throughput is available.
Do failed requests consume credits?
The applicable rule is provided with the activated API product. Confirm validation, failed-request and re-download rules before production use.
Can I add credits later?
Yes. Credit top-up packs can be added as usage grows, and higher-volume requirements can be discussed with the API team.
